Once a Loyal Guest, Now a Harsh Critic
Fox News seems to have officially lost one of its most outspoken supporters — Donald Trump Jr.
In a fiery interview with Newsmax, the eldest son of former President Donald Trump lashed out at the network he once frequented. He called Fox “a more RINO network,” accusing it of caring more about being loved and getting attention than about genuine conservative values.
“Honestly, I don’t watch it anymore because it’s so ridiculous,” Trump Jr. complained, expressing deep frustration with the direction Fox has taken.
He went on to claim that the network has become too cautious and too eager to appear balanced. “They try so hard to be unbiased that they’re actually biased towards conservatives at this point,” he said. “It’s pretty ridiculous.”
Although Trump Jr. had often appeared on Fox during his father’s presidency, his remarks suggest a sharp shift — and a sense of betrayal — toward a channel once considered the heartbeat of right-wing media.

Echoing His Father’s Anger
Meanwhile, his father, Donald Trump Sr., is also at odds with Fox. Over the weekend, he slammed the network after it dared to air an interview with Democratic Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona.
According to Trump, Fox’s decision to feature Kelly amounted to what he called “FAKE SPIN” — an act that, in his view, damages the Republican Party.
He fumed on social media, demanding that Fox “either get on board or get off board, NOW.” His words made clear that he expects loyalty and sees any form of balance as betrayal.
Furthermore, this public outburst shows how sensitive the Trump family has become to even mild criticism or deviation from their preferred narrative.
A Growing Rift Between MAGA and Fox
For years, Fox News served as a crucial ally in boosting the Trump brand and amplifying MAGA messaging. However, since Trump left office, tensions between Fox and the Trump camp have steadily intensified.
Fox has occasionally aired content critical of Trump or given airtime to Democrats, which the former president and his supporters see as a sign of disloyalty. As a result, networks like Newsmax and One America News (OANN) have increasingly become safe havens for diehard MAGA followers seeking an echo chamber free of dissenting voices.
This feud highlights a larger divide within conservative media — between those chasing mainstream legitimacy and those determined to remain unapologetically partisan.
In the end, both Trumps’ latest attacks reveal an uncomfortable truth: the once-symbiotic relationship between Fox News and the Trump dynasty is breaking down. And as the 2024 election cycle heats up, that fracture could reshape the entire right-wing media landscape.
