Trump’s FBI Director’s Secret Note During Hearing Goes Viral

This week, FBI Director Kash Patel appeared before the House Judiciary Committee, and the testimony quickly spiraled into chaos. From the very beginning, lawmakers pressed him on several sensitive issues, and as a result, tensions ran high.

During one heated exchange, Rep. Eric Swalwell questioned Patel directly about the Epstein files. At first, Patel tried to remain calm; however, the back-and-forth soon turned sharp. Meanwhile, cameras caught Patel scribbling something on his notepad, and that detail is now drawing more attention than his actual answers.

The handwritten note, penned in blue ink on official “Director Patel” stationery, read:

“Good fight with Swalwell. Hold the line. Brush off their attacks. Rise above the next line of partisan attacks.”

Notably, the message sounded more like a middle school pep talk than a professional briefing. Consequently, the note went viral online almost immediately.

Critics wasted no time mocking him. One person wrote:

“Maybe Kash Patel would be better at his job if he had, I don’t know, statistics or analysis at his fingertips, rather than twelve-year-old boy style ‘I’m such a big strong man’ shit written on his pad.”

As a result, the reaction on social media has been overwhelmingly negative. Many argued that Patel seemed more interested in motivating himself with clichés rather than addressing the substance of the committee’s questions. On the other hand, some observers suggested that such notes might simply be a way to keep focused under hostile questioning.

In fact, the moment has now become a meme across Twitter and Reddit. Therefore, Patel’s attempt to encourage himself may have backfired, since it has fueled the perception that he was unprepared for serious oversight.

Ultimately, the viral note has overshadowed the rest of Patel’s testimony. Instead of headlines about policy, Americans are laughing at what looks like a motivational diary scribble. Whether this episode damages Patel’s credibility in the long term remains to be seen, but the ridicule is already spreading fast.

So, what do you think? Was Patel’s pep note a harmless coping trick, or does it show that he was in over his head? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
